CHINESE NEW YEAR FESTIVAL

Celebrate the Year of the Pig with sound, color, and joy. The Garden’s plum blossom trees will be in full bloom signifying the return of spring. Chinatown and the Garden will be decorated for the biggest festival in the Chinese calendar. Activities include fortune telling, martial arts, calligraphy writing, storytelling, lucky red packets, and a special art exhibition. Watch for the big parade that winds through the streets of Chinatown around noon!
