What is a kilometre?
Distance in Canada, including speed limits on highway signs, is measured in kilometres. A kilometre is approximately 5/8 mile. Miles x 1.6 = kilometres. Kilometres x 0.6 = miles.
What is Celsius?
In Canada, temperature is measured in Celsius. To convert
from Celsius to Fahrenheit multiply by 9/5 and add 32. To
convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius, add 32 and multiply by
5/9. "Conversion for Dummies," double Celsius and
add 30.
